SEVENTEEN Mirror Shine Lipstick

Today I have purchased this new lipstick by SEVENTEEN, it was £4.79 and currently at Boots it is 3 for 2 on make up : )

It went on like a lipstick but has a similar coverage to a lip gloss but without the stickiness. I got this coral shade called Cheeky Secret ready for the sunny days and warmer nights. I love the fact that it comes with its own little mirror, it means you can have a perfect pout wherever you go.

The lipstick stays on quite well and makes your lips feel lovely and soft, dare I say kissable?!

I have to say I am quite impressed with this lipstick and would be tempted to buy it in their other shades as I have spied a few shades that are definitely going to be a must have for summer.

You can purchase this lipstick from here.

March 30th 2013

Today I have worn a Primark dress and jacket with some Asda boots.

The snow has slowly started to melt away but the temperature is still on the chilly side. I am really hoping that the weather will start to warm up as I am itching to get my spring/summer wardrobe out.

Boots have got a 3 for 2 on their make up again : ) Also if you have a No7 skin care voucher remember they run out tomorrow. I made a few purchases this afternoon. A post on my new lippie will follow.

Scan Bran Cake

If you have never heard of scan bran let me explain. It is a god send in Slimming World as it can help with the old weight loss. They are similar to Ryvtta but have more versatility. You can pick them up from your local Slimming World group, Amazon or Holland and Barrett stock them.

To make this cake you will need:
5 slices of scan bran
1 Muller Light (the choice of flavour is up to you, I went with vanilla sprinkled with chocolate)
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
5 tablespoons of sweetener

- Firstly you need soak your scan bran in some boiling water to soften them.

-Drain off the excess water and break it up with a spoon.

- Mix in your chosen Muller Light.
-Mix in your two eggs.

-Add in your baking powder.

-Add in your sweetener.

-Add in your cinnamon.
-Give it all a big mix together so that all the ingredients are evenly distributed.

-Pop it in the microwave and put it on for 7 minutes.
-When it has cooled slightly pop it on a plate and serve up.

I have to say it may not look much but it was damn tasty. I will be experimenting with other flavours of Muller's to see which is my favourite.

For those of you on Slimming World there are 5 syns for the whole cake or free if you use the scan bran as your Healthy Extra B! How good is that : )

My trip to Wembley : )

On Sunday my family and I managed to dig our way out of the snow to get down to Wembley to watch Wrexham in the final of the Calsberg cup. I have never been to Wembley and I have to say it is an amazing stadium, the atmosphere was electric!

I can happily say that we won! It wasn't easy, it went to extra time and penalties. It was a nail biting experience.

It was a tiring day but well worth it to see my team lift the cup at Wembley and hear 20,000 Wrexham fans sing the Welsh national anthem. It brought a lump to my throat : )
